MONDay 2 - 48 km/30 miles.   Ahead of you on the first day of bicycling lies a pleasant ride out of Copenhagen (on bicycle paths) towards Helsingør. Enjoy Dyrehaven, the royal hunting ground on your left, and the view over the sea - Sweden towering in the distance - on your right. You will be riding near the coast all day. At Rungsted you can visit the home of the Danish author, Karen Blixen (Isak Dinesen). Louisiana, the museum in Humlebæk, enjoying world acclaim for its exhibitions of modern art as well as for its picturesque location, is definitely worth a stop. The night is spent in Helsingør.
Overnight at Hotel Marienlyst or similar.

TUESDay 3 - 34 km/22 miles.   A day of castles! When in Helsingør visit Hamlet's castle Kronborg. After that, a lovely ride down to Fredensborg - Lots of time on your hands, fresh air and beautiful countryside all around you. Continue to Hillerød. The night is spent at a modern hotel near the famous castle Frederiksborg Castle.
