Day 01: ARRIVE OSLO, SAS FLIGHT OSLO - KIRKENES
Upon arrival into Oslo Gardermoen Airport (transatlantic flight is not included) connect to SAS domestic flight for an afternoon departure to Kirkenes. Upon arrival it is a short transfer on own to your hotel. Use the rest of the “day” to relax or explore Kirkenes, remember it is daylight 24 hours a day. Dinner on own.

Day 02: KIRKENES - EMBARKATION OF HCV SHIP - VARDO - BATSFJORD - BERLEVAG
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Morning is free before you board your Hurtigruten Coastal Voyage (HCV) ship with scheduled departure at 12:45pm. Transfer on own to cruise pier, located close to your hotel. Once onboard settle in for your 6 day/5 night southbound cruise. Breakfast buffet, lunch buffet and 3-course dinner is included daily starting with lunch as you leave Kirkenes and end with lunch as you sail into Bergen. If you have not pre-booked your shore excursions, now is a good time to secure space, as you head south along the scenic Norwegian coast. This 6-day voyage sails from the sparse northern landscapes to the lush southern regions. Your ship will call at 34 ports as she sails to Bergen and you will enjoy what is known as “The World’s Most Beautiful Voyage”, including the North Cape, Tromso, the Lofoten Islands, Trondheim and finally Bergen.

Day 03: HCV TO HONNINGSVAG - HAVOYSUND - HAMMERFEST - TROMSO
Start the day with a summer breakfast at the North Cape Hall (optional excursion), which is firmly perched on the massive cliff marking the northernmost tip of mainland Europe. From here we make a stop in Hammerfest before our next major port of call, Tromsø, where you can take part in a very special musical experience, the Arctic Cathedral Midnight Concert.

Day 04: HCV TO TROMSO - HARSTAD - SORTLAND - SVOLVAR - STAMSUND
Passing through the Lofoten Islands the ship negotiates a stunning network of inlets and isles, before moving on to what is the highlight of the voyage for many, a possible detour into the spectacular and dramatic Trollfjord. Join us on a fantastic safari by RIB- boat through the Lofoten archipelago under the Midnight Sun!

Day 05: HCV TO BODO - ORNES - NESNA - SANDNESSJOEN - BRONNOYSUND - RORVIK
As we sail past the Helgeland coast you can enjoy views of the hundreds of islets, fertile farmland and lush meadows. Today will also be our last one north of the Arctic Circle. The Vega Archipelago, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is close to our call in Sandnessjøen.

Day 06: HCV TO TRONDHEIM - KRISTIANSUND - MOLDE - ÅLESUND
We arrive in Trondheim in the early morning. Nidaros Cathedral, in which three Queens and seven Kings have been crowned, is Scandinavia’s largest medieval building and worth a visit. The town of Kristiansund, located on the scenic Atlantic Road, holds the rather obscure title of Norway’s ‘cured cod capital’ owing to the nature of its main export.

Day 07: HCV TO BERGEN
After buffet breakfast enjoy your last hours onboard your HCV ship as she enters Bergen, also know as the gateway to the fjords. After disembarkation you will have a private transfer to your Bergen hotel. Afternoon is free on own to explore the famous inner harbor area or take a tour. In the evening you will meet up with your tour escort for an orientation meeting prior to your dinner.

Day 08: BERGEN - FLÅM - BALESTRAND
After a delicious buffet breakfast, departure from Bergen via Dale to the town of Voss. Descend the Næroey Valley, passing the amazing Stalheim Canyon, to the village of Flåm. Here you will board the famous Flåm Railroad, a masterpiece of engineering ascending 2.838 feet in less than one hour. The descent to Flåm offers opportunities for photos of waterfalls and spectacular scenery. After a short rest in Flåm you will start a 2 hours cruise along the narrow Aurlands and Nærøey Fjords, both branches of the Sogne Fjord, the longest and deepest fjord in the world. From the sun deck or the comfortable lounge, you can enjoy the spectacular scenery of cascading waterfalls, sheer mountain cliffs, snow-clad peaks, and a variety of wildlife. After disembarking in the village of Gudvangen you will be continuing across the Vika Mountains to Vangsnes for the short ferry crossing to Balestrand on the banks of the Sognefjord.

Day 09: BALESTRAND - A DAY IN THE FJORDS
Day free in Balestrand, providing you the opportunity to spend a whole day relaxing and enjoying the beauty and nature of the fjords. The day starts with a traditional Norwegian buffet breakfast in the hotel's elegant dining room. You may want to spend the morning relaxing on the hotel's terrace and enjoying the spectacular views. We can also recommend a visit to the local aquarium and art gallery, or you may prefer to rent a bike or row boat from the hotel, or even go hiking to the nearest mountains. A walking tour of the village of Balestrand, with its historic buildings can also be arranged.

Day 10: BALESTRAND - GEIRANGER
After breakfast departure from your hotel by ferry from Dragsvik to Hella, followed by a scenic drive along the northern side of the Sognefjord to Sogndal. The tour continues by road to Fjaerland, passing under the Jostedal Glacier, the largest in Europe, to the village of Skei. Descend to the beautiful Nord Fjord, making a detour at Olden to visit the world-famous Briksdal Glacier. The journey up to the glacier will be made in open cars to give you the best of views. Afterwards a typical Norwegian lunch will be served in sight of the glacier. During the afternoon the tour continues via Loen and Stryn to the picturesque village of Hellesylt. From here you board the ferry for the one hour’s cruise along the spectacular Geiranger Fjord. During the cruise you will pass close by some impressive waterfalls, such as the Bridal Veil and the Seven Sisters.

Day 11: GEIRANGER - OSLO
Ascend the famous Serpentine Road with amazing views of the fjord below, before crossing the rugged Grotli Mountains to the village of Lom, famous for its 14th century stave church. The tour continues alongside Lake Vågå to Otta, then descends the wonderful Gudbrands Valley towards the town of Lillehammer. Lunch in Lillehammer. After lunch the journey continues along the banks of Lake Mjøsa, Norway's largest lake, before reaching Oslo in the afternoon, the capital of Norway.

Day 12: OSLO DEPARTURE
Buffet breakfast at your hotel, followed by transfer to Oslo Gardermoen Airport in connection with your flight home.
