Day 1: Saturday, Arrival in Oslo
Arrival in Oslo, the capital of Norway, is situated at the head of Oslo Fjord
surrounded by forested ridges, transfer on own to your hotel.

Day 2: Sunday, Oslo - Kirkenes
Breakfast at the Hotel. Please be in the hotel’s reception area between 08:00–
08:30, to meet your tour escort and receive information on the upcoming tour
program. Your morning is at leisure until 12.30 when you meet your local
English-speaking guide in the lobby of your hotel and depart by private coach for
a combined city sightseeing tour and transfer. We will enjoy a magnificent view of
the Oslo Fjord from Holmenkollen Hill, with the famous ski jumps where the
Winter Games were held in 1952. Among other highlights, we will visit the Viking
Ship Museum, with its three Viking vessels. The Vigeland’s Park, one of the
major Scandinavian cultural treasures, will welcome us with the sculptures of
Gustav Vigeland, who dedicated his life to his artistic works. We will also pass by
the Royal Palace and the main street, Karl Johan. The tour ends at Oslo’s
Gardermoen Airport in good time for your flight to Kirkenes. On arrival at Kirkenes Airport, private coach transfer to your hotel.

Day 3: Monday, Kirkenes - King Crab Safari - Kakslauttanen
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you board a coach for your King Crab Safari
and travel a short distance to Jarfjord, with a quick stop on the Russian boarder
on the way. Once at Jarfjord you travel either by boat or snow mobile, depending
on ice conditions, in search of the King Crabs. You will have the opportunity to
watch a diver catch the giant crab, giving you the chance to experience this giant
of the sea, up close. You will also get to taste this local delicacy while watching a
unique multimedia lecture on this incredible creature. Transfer back to your hotel
in Kirkenes where you will have free time for lunch (not included). Early in the
afternoon you board your long distance coach for your journey through the
fascinating white countryside of Lapland. Late in the afternoon you arrive at the
Igloo Village in Kakslauttanen for check-in to your private Glass Igloos. Enjoy the
warmth of your Glass igloo and weather permitting, you can marvel the amazing
Northern Lights and the millions of stars from you bed. Dinner at your hotel

Day 4: Tuesday, Kakslauttanen - Rovaniemi
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast you get the opportunity to experience
reindeer safari which will ease away all stress as you peacefully travel through
the forest pulled by your very own reindeer. The safari includes transfers to a
reindeer farm, a short comfortable sleigh ride and a break with coffee or tea. On
your return you will enjoy lunch at the Kakslauttanen Igloo village before boarding
your private coach and travelling to Rovaniemi, the home of Santa Claus.

Day 5: Wednesday, Rovaniemi - Santa Claus Village - Haparanda
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning is at leisure allowing you time to take an
optional Snowmobile safari (09:00 – 12:30) to a Husky Dog Farm where you
learn the fun of snowmobiling along frozen rivers and through snow-covered
forests before reaching a husky dog farm. Here you can experience a 1 km thrill
ride in a sled pulled by a team of huskies and enjoy hot beverages around a
camp fire. Departure by coach at midday, and travel to Santa Claus Village where you will
enjoy lunch at the Aurora Café and Restaurant, and free time to experience this
unique attraction including a quick visit with Santa Claus himself. Later in the
afternoon we travel south towards the northern Gulf of Bothnia and end the day
at our hotel located on the boarder of Sweden and Finland. This famous turn-of the-
century hotel was recently restored to its former glory, with the authentic
character of the town’s number one establishment. Check-in and dinner at your

Day 6: Thursday, Haparanda - Kemi Icebreaker Cruise - Luleå
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning is at leisure before your transfer to Kemi where
you will experience one of the highlights of your winter adventure. We board the
Sampo Icebreaker at Kemi harbor and spend the next 4 hours on this
unforgettable vessel breaking though the ice in the northern Gulf of Bothnia. This
incredible experience includes a guided tour of the ship with its massive engine
room and bridge, and a warm lunch in the on board restaurant. In the middle of
the largest ice field in Europe, you can drop in to the sea and float! You will of
course be fitted with a warm survival suit and those who dare will also be
presented with a certificate by the ship’s Captain.
After the cruise we board our private coach and travel west back across the
Swedish boarder with early evening arrival at your hotel. The Elite Stadshotell

Day 7: Friday, Luleå - Stockholm
After breakfast at your hotel. Board your private coach for a transfer to Luleå
airport, for your flight to Stockholm. On arrival at
Stockholm Airport, meet your local English-speaking guide and depart by private
coach for combined transfer and 4-hour city sightseeing tour including a break for
lunch (at own cost). The city of Stockholm, built on 14 islands, connected by 57
bridges, embraces the unique character of the 13th century Old Town and
modern high-tech architecture. Stockholm's islands are bordered by Lake
Mälaren in the west and the Baltic Sea in the east where the archipelago with it's
30.000 islands awaits exploration. Renowned for its beauty, Stockholm is also
the hub of the Baltic area with easy access to the Nordic capitals and the Baltic
countries. The capital is a big city with a small town personality. Stockholm is
proudly called Beauty on Water and a sightseeing tour including a walk in the Old
Town and inside visits to the City Hall, where the Nobel festivities take place, and
the Cathedral makes a memorable afternoon tour. Discover a city of contrasts.
Go back 750 years in time and feel the medieval atmosphere of the Old Town
"Gamla Stan" as you wander through the narrow streets. The seven hundred
year old cathedral of Stockholm, Seat of the archbishop, will be visited during
your stroll in the Old Town, where you will also get a chance to see Stortorget;
where the Stockholm Blood Bath took place. An inside visit is paid to the best
known of the city's symbols, the City Hall, where the Nobel Banquet takes place
in the Blue and Golden Halls. The tour ends at your hotel for check-in. The rest of
the afternoon is at leisure

Day 8: Saturday, Stockholm - Departure
Tour concludes after breakfast at the hotel. Individual transfer on own to Stockholm Arlanda airport
