Historic Capitals and Captivating Countryside
The tour embraces all three Baltic countries, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, each of which has its own distinctive cultural tradition and historical heritage. The three capitals are renowned for their charming old town areas, full of architectural gems. The captivating countryside is worth discovering for its quaint towns and unique landscapes. Special attention has been paid to the choice of hotels; they are located in or close to the old parts of the cities. Private transfers and walking tours with local guides are included.
NOTE! This is an Independent Tour but include private transfers and local English guides for city tours, as outlined below

Note! Nationals of some countries require a visa for entry to one or all three of the Baltic States. It is of extreme importance that you check what the current visa requirements are at the time of booking. Transfers are not guided but performed by a driver only

Day 1: Arrival Tallinn, private transfer  
Day 2: Tallinn, City tour
Day 3: Tallinn-Riga via coach  
Day 4: Riga, City tour

Day 1: Tallinn - Gateway to the Baltic's
Arrival in Tallinn airport or harbour. Meet and greet by your local driver, transfer by private car to your hotel. Overnight at one of below hotels in the Old City area of Tallinn.

Day 2: Tallinn
(Breakfast)
After breakfast you will explore the city’s most important sights on a three-hour walking tour of the old parts of the city.  You have time for a stroll to enjoy the wealth of its medieval architecture. From Toompea, the Castle hill, you have a magnificent view over the city and the Baltic Sea. Overnight in Tallinn.

Day 3: Via Baltica
(Breakfast, Coach to Riga ~ 5 hours, private transfers to/from coach stations included)
You travel along the famous Via Baltica from Tallinn to Riga, the capital of Latvia. In August 1989 the Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians formed a human chain through all the three countries, and Via Baltica became to symbolise the road to freedom. Arrival in Riga in the afternoon/evening.
Overnight at one of below hotels of the city.

Day 4: Riga - A Lesson of Architectural Styles
(Breakfast)
The morning three-hour walking tour introduces you to Riga’s historic sights, which display a wide variety of architectural styles. Overnight in Riga.

Day 5: Lithuania - Outpost of Latin Culture
(Breakfast, Coach to Vilnius ~ 5 hours, private transfers to/from coach stations included)
Tour proceeds to Vilnius where for 2 nights in one of the below listed hotels.

Day 6: Vilnius
(Breakfast)
In the morning you will get a close view of the monumental sights of Vilnius, all bearing witness to the rich history of the city. They include the Cathedral, the University, which dates back to the 1570’s, and the white church of Saints Peter and Paul. Overnight in Vilnius.

Day 7: Vilnius Departure
(Breakfast)
Private car transfer to Vilnius airport for your flight.
