Arctic Winter Adventure Tour
This trip brings you to Kirkenes in northern Norway. This part of the country will offer you many exciting winter activities including the Snow Crab Safari.
The lively port town of Kirkenes, the start/ending/turn around point of the world famous Hurtigruten Coastal Voyage. Should you wish to combine this tour with the Norwegian Coastal Voyage please contact us for a quote. In between you might experience the northern light and a bit of the Sámi Culture.

Minimum: 2 persons, all rates listed are per person
Activities and cancellation: The activity suppliers may cancel excursions due to
weather conditions and safety of the clients. If the supplier offers an alternative activity
and the client agrees to join there will be no refund for the cancelled activities.
Clothing to bring: Warm and leisure clothing. Wool underwear, warm sweater of fleece, good and warm shoes, hat and gloves, scarf, pants and jacket.
Specialty clothing/helmet as needed for tours will be provided
DAY 01: ARRIVAL KIRKENES
Arrival Kirkenes airport. (Air on own or call us for a quote)
Transfer to the hotel is included.
Check in at the new Thon Hotel Kirkenes or similar.
9:00pm - guided 2 hour "Hunting for the Northern Light" tour by snow mobile is included. Optional 5 hour Northern Light Tour by Husky possible with 5:00pm departure, add $60 per person and advise when booking
DAY 02: KING CRAB SAFARI or HUSKY TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel.
Choice of activity in Kirkenes:
A. 1:00pm-5.00pm - King Crab Safari & Lunch
There will be a quick transfer to a local fisherman's home. Here you will be provided protective clothing before heading out in a sledge pulled by a snow mobile. Once at your destination you will help cut the ice and pull up the trap. This area offer some of the largest and freshest King Crabs in the world. Enjoy superb King Crab for lunch, followed by return ride and transfer to your hotel
B. 1:00pm-5:00pm - Husky Tour
Transfer from your hotel to the husky farm. After some basic instructions in how to "drive" the husky team, you will be off. There will be 2 persons sharing one sled, one driving and one relaxing. Short stops will be made enroute and include a light picnic lunch. After your return a transfer back to your hotel is included.

DAY 03: STAY AT KIRKENES SNOWHOTEL AND DINNER
Breakfast at hotel. Day free on own or for optional tours;
- 3 hour Ice Fishing with a Local Expert, $295
- 2 hour Snow Shoe Walk with Local Expert, $150
- 2 hour Cross Country Ski School, $150
6:00pm, transfer from your hotel to the Snowhotel. A welcome drink will be served in the SnowBar, followed by check-in. Later your will enjoy a 3-course dinner by the fire. Why not say good-night to the the reindeers before going to bed in your cool room.

DAY 04: DEPARTURE KIRKENES
Breakfast at the hotel. Sauna and showers are available before transfer to Kirkenes Airport or Hurtigruten Coastal Voyage pier. Return to your homeward destination on your own
Per person in double room: $1495
Per person in single room: $1730 (minimum 2 person required for tours)
Included: Arrival transfer, 2 nights at Thon Hotel Kirkenes incl. breakfast in a double room, 2 hour Northern Light tour, choice of 4 hour King Crab Safari or Husky Tour with lunch. Overnight at Snowhotel incl. 3-course dinner & breakfast. Departure transfer. Order of tours can be modified as need or if sold out.
