The Lofoten Tour offers a visit to one of Norway’s most beautiful island groups located above the Arctic Circle. Here you will find a combination of spectacular natural beauty and wildlife including ORCA whales in the winter, Whale Watching tours in the summer, bird watching and some of the best fishing in all of Norway.
This combined with with an array of activities, such as kayaking, mountain hiking, bike rentals, photography and more, will provide you with many exciting options.
If you prefer you can just enjoy the scenery, local museums, art galleries, cozy shops and good restaurants. You will have no problem getting around in your rental car.
Svolvær, with its 4100 inhabitants, is the “Capital of the Lofoten Islands” and from here you will have easy access to most of the sights and tours offered in the area
Day 1—Arrival into Svolvar via flight or Hurtigruten cruise. Pick up your Hertz rental car and drive the short distance to your hotel. You will stay at the new Thon Hotel Lofoten for the next three nights.
Overnight at Thon Hotel Lofoten or similar
Day 2—Enjoy brekfast at your hotel. Full day to explore area and/or take optional tours available from hotel and local tourist office.

Day 3—Breakfast at your hotel. Another full day to explore area and/or take optional tours.

Day 4—After breakfast return rental car and continue via flight or Hurtigruten
