ScanAm is pleased to offer this Fjord Norway experience. The
tour starts in Bergen with transfer on own to the famous Norwegian Coastal
Voyage ( now named "Hurtigruten") for an overnight cruise departure to Molde
via the spectacular Geiranger Fjord. You will spend 2 nights in the beautiful
coastal city of Molde. Here you will have time to visit The Romsdal Museum or take a ride along the famous Atlantic Road. Finally you will continue by scheduled coach to Åndalsnes where you connect to a train on the spectacular
Rauma rail line to Dombås and onward by regular Express Train via the
scenic Gudbrandsdal valley to Oslo with arrival in the evening
Tour
Itinerary:
Day 1—Arrival on own into Bergen. 1 night included at Hotel Augustin or similar
Day 2—Breakfast at your hotel. Full day to explore Bergen, take an optional city tour or you even have time to do the famous Norway in a Nutshell daytour. (8.40AM-6PM) Early evening short transfer on own to the "Hurtigruten" (HCV) ship for a northbound overnight sailing along the west coast to Ålesund
Day 3—After short morning call in Ålesund, you stay
on ship, full day sailing to Geiranger Fjord on HCV ending in Molde
at 10.00PM with 2 nights at Hotel Moldefjord incl. breakfast. Hotel is located close to pier.
Day 4—Full day to explore Molde on your own
Day 5—Breakfast at hotel before morning or midday departure by scheduled coach for a 2-hour ride along beautiful fjords to Åndalsnes. Upon arrival board the spectacular Rauma Rail Line for a 90 minute journey to Dombås. Here you will connect to the express train
bound for Oslo with early/late evening arrival. This 4-hour train trip will take you through the scenic Gulbrandsdals Valley and
Lillehammer, site of the 1994 Winter Olympics, to Oslo. 1 night included at Thon Hotel Opera or similar. Option last night can also be booked at Oslo Gardermoen Airport as train stops at airport station enroute. Let us know when booking if you want this option
Day 6—Breakfast at your Oslo hotel. End of tour
Tour Includes:
• 1 night in Bergen as per itinerary including breakfast & tax
• Hurtigruten Coastal Voyage from Bergen to Molde in outside
category “L”-cabin or similar.
• Full day Geiranger Fjord sailing on HCV (April 15 - September 14)
• 2 nights with breakfast buffet at Hotel Moldefjord or similar
• Scheduled coach from Molde to Åndalsnes
• Standard class rail from Åndalsnes to Oslo via Dombaas including seat reservations
• 1 night in Oslo (or Oslo Gardermoen Airport) as per itinerary including breakfast & tax
Not Included:
• Meals on HCV ship, can only be purchased onboard
• Optional HCV land tour between Geiranger and Molde
• Transfers to and from hotel, piers and rail/bus stations
• Optional rail from Oslo to Bergen or v.v. add $call per person adult incl. seat reservation
• Optional rail upgrade to Komfort Class incl. PC jack, Coffee/Tea and a Norwegian paper add
$24 p.p. per train.
• Optional additional nights at Hotel Moldefjord from $call per person double incl. breakfast

* NOTE ! Tour can be enjoyed all year, except Hurtigruten ships do not sail into Geiranger Fjord outside period 4/15 till 9/14. Call/e-mail for a quote as rates are lower during fall/winter/spring periods. Tour can also be done in reverse, however, the southbound cruise does NOT sail into Geiranger
