This tour is an extension of the popular “Norway In A Nutshell”
tour and features a cruise into Sognefjord via Aurlandsfjord on the Express Boat followed by an overnight at Historic Kvikne's Hotel in charming Balestrand. On Day 2 the tour continues to Gudvangen on the Naeroyfjord
and via scheduled coach through the Stalheim Canyon to Voss and on to Bergen by train
Standard Tour Itinerary Oslo to Bergen
Due to ongoing track work in Norway some time tables may change without prior notice
Day 1—Standard
class train from Oslo Station at 8:11 AM to Myrdal connecting
with the Flåm Railroad to Flåm at 2 PM connecting by Express Boat at 3:30 PM to Balestrand at 4:55 PM,
with dinner and overnight at the Historic Kvikne’s Hotel.
Day 2—Breakfast at hotel. Morning free until your 11:50 AM Express Boat return sailing to Flåm(#) with arrival at 1:30 PM.Time for lunch before your 3:10 PM fjord cruise to Gudvangen via Aurlandsfjord and the spectacular Naeroyfjord, with arrival at 5:20 PM. In Gudvangen you will connect to a scheduled coach that will drive you via the scenic Stalheim Canyon road to Voss by 7:00 PM. Final leg of your Nutshell tour is by local train departing at 7:20 PM and arrival into Bergen at 8:40 PM.
(#) A connection in Midtfjords is possible 6/01-8/31 which will bring you into Bergen by 7:05 PM daily except Saturdays
Standard Tour Itinerary Bergen to Oslo

Day 1—Standard
class train from Bergen Station at 8:40 AM to Voss at 9:53 AM. Here you will be connecting
to the scheduled coach at 10:00 AM driving to Gudvangen via the scenic Stalheim Canyon. Arrival into Gudvangen at 11:10 AM. Connect to a 2 hour fjord cruise departing at 11:30 AM sailing through the spectacular Naeroyfjord and Aurlandsfjord to Flåm at 1:40 PM. You will have a couple of hours in Flåm. At 3:30 PM board the Express Boat to Balestrand with arrival at 4:55 PM. Overnight
with dinner at the Historic Kvikne’s Hotel.
Day 2—Breakfast at hotel. Morning free until your 11:50 AM Express Boat return sailing to Flåm with arrival at 1:30 PM.Time for lunch before your 4:00 PM departure on the famous Flåm railroad to Myrdal. A quick connection to the Oslo bound Express Train, with arrival at 10:32 PM

• Stay at Balestrand Hotel & save ~ $30 per person double/twin ~ May 20-September 10
• Glacier tour programs are being revised for 2012 and are not presently finalized and must be purchased from Kvikne's Hotel tour desk. NOTE!! Requires 2 nights in Balestrand when traveling Bergen to Oslo direction Glacier Tours are expected to operate 6/01-8/31
• Upgrade options at Kvikne's Hotel; (per person per night)

Optional luggage transport is now available from your Oslo hotel to your Bergen hotel or in reverse
Fee per piece is $57 and must be prebooked with ScanAm.
When staying overnight in fjords you will have to pack an overnight bag and bring along as luggage is only transported between Oslo and Bergen or in reverse
Tours
are operated, Oslo to Bergen or in reverse, plus options for Bergen to Bergen, Oslo to Oslo
via Voss,
and finally Oslo to Oslo via Bergen. Contact us for rates when using above options
