Day 01: Arrive Tallinn

Arrival in Tallinn, transfer arrangements to your five star hotel located in the city center. Please consult the reception for your welcome letter & information bulletin at your hotel. Remainder of day free on own.

Day 02: Tallinn - Old Town - Toompea Hill - Alexander Nevsky - Dome Church - Latin Quarter

Breakfast is at your hotel. Please be at hotel reception early to meet your tour escort and receive information on the upcoming program. Continue with your local English-speaking guide for a 3-hour city tour by foot.

The sightseeing tour starts out with a walking tour of Tallinn Old Town, begins at Toompea Hill, and encompasses some of the city’s most culturally significant sites: the Toompea Hill Castle, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Dome Church, Viewer Square (a panoramic platform), Lühike Street, and down to Lower Town. Walk further with your guide through historic Tallinn to the Old Town Hall Square—viewing Old Town Hall, the Old Town Pharmacy, and the Church of the Holy Ghost. As you walk back to your hotel you will pass the Latin Quarter, where you’ll find open markets, studios, and shops of local artisans.

Afternoon is free to enjoy the city on your own. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 03: Tallinn - Baltic Sea Ferry - Helsinki - Senate Square - Marshall Mannerheim - Sibelius Monument - Temppeliaukio Church

Breakfast buffet at your hotel. The morning is at leisure until your transfer from your hotel to the Tallinn Ferry terminal. Travel across the Baltic Sea and enjoy the scenery on the fast ferry ride from Tallinn to Helsinki.

On arrival in Helsinki, meet & greet by your local English-speaking guide for a 3-hour city sightseeing of the capital of Finland, also known as ‘The Daughter of the Baltic Sea’. The tour includes the Senate Square, the University and Lutheran Cathedral, the colorful Market Square by the sea, the statue of Marshall Mannerheim, the Parliament Building, Finlandia Hall, the Orthodox Russian Church Uspenski and the Sibelius Monument. A visit will also be made to Temppeliaukio Church – called the ‘Rock Church’ as it is carved into solid rock.

The tour ends at your charming five star hotel for check in and overnight.

Day 04: Helsinki - St. Petersburg

Breakfast at your hotel this morning before you depart for Helsinki International Rail Station. Board the Allegro train bound for St. Petersburg, a city founded in 1703 by Tsar Peter the Great and one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Also known as ‘the Venice of the North’, St. Petersburg was virtually unharmed after the 1930-50s Stalinist reconstruction, and its downtown dazzles the eye of the visitor with splendid palaces, stylish monuments, straight avenues, beautiful bridges, and other attractions.

On arrival to St. Petersburg transfer to your five-star hotel—superbly located on the main avenue Nevsky Prospekt—for check-in. Evening at leisure. Your tour escort will assist with recommendations and reservations for optional evening arrangements for the next three nights.

Day 05: St. Petersburg City Tour - Nevsky Prospect - Vasilievsky Island - St. Isaac's Cathedral - Russian Museum - Nikolsky Cathedral

Buffet breakfast at hotel.

This morning you’ll meet a local guide and embark on a panoramic city tour which will cover many of the highlights of this historic city. Drive along the Nevsky Prospect, the heart of the city, and make stops at Vasilievsky Island, Senate Square, Peter and Paul’s Fortress, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Arts Square, and the Russian Museum as well as two renowned churches—Church of the Spilled Blood, and the Nikolsky Cathedral.

The city tour ends at your hotel, and the rest of the day is at leisure to explore St. Petersburg independently. Your tour guide can help with suggestions for optional tours and points of interest.

Day 06: St. Petersburg City Tour - Peterhof Palace - Hermitage Art Museum - Winter Palace

Breakfast at hotel. Meet your local English-speaking guide for a full day tour of the city by coach, starting out at the famous Peterhof Palace: the palace of the Sea God Englis, conceived by Peter the Great and a paradise of 18th-19th century Russian artistic culture. Lunch at a local restaurant is included today.

After lunch, travel by hydrofoil back to the main region of St. Petersburg and continue to the world-famous Hermitage Art Museum and state rooms of the Winter Palace.

Return to your city-center hotel after the tour and enjoy a free evening to explore the city.

Day 07: St. Petersburg Departure

After your final buffet breakfast at the hotel, we’ll transfer you directly to St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo Airport for your flight home.
