Day 01: Arrive Copenhagen
Arrive in Copenhagen and meet our local representative at Copenhagen Kastrup Airport before transferring together to your four star hotel.
Please see welcome letter upon check-in at hotel for details about the meeting point and time with your tour escort. A short welcome meeting will be held this evening, where you will receive more information about the upcoming tour program.
NOTE: Escorted transfer is only available from Copenhagen airport to your hotel on the official start date of the tour. Transfers are conducted by an English-speaking representative. Please note that optional private transfer options are listed below if you wish to add them to your booking.
Day 02: Copenhagen - Oslo
Scandinavian buffet breakfast at hotel. This morning start a 3-hour city sightseeing tour with a local English-speaking guide covering the highlights of Copenhagen, passing the Royal Palace, Nyhavn, Old Stock Exchange, The Little Mermaid, Christiansborg Palace - housing of the Danish Parliament, plus much more. Tour will end back at hotel. Afternoon transfer by coach to DFDS Seaways terminal for your overnight cruise to Oslo.
Enjoy dinner on own as you cruise gently up the Kattegat on your way to Oslo. There is dancing and entertainment on board, or you may prefer to sit out on deck and watch the sunset. Accommodation is in 2-berth outside cabins with shower/WC including dinner buffet. We recommend bringing an overnight bag for this cruise, to avoid having to carry your suitcases to and from the cabin.
Day 03: Oslo - Geilo
Breakfast onboard as you sail up the Oslofjord. Arrive in the early morning, disembark, and board your private coach for a visit to the Holmenkollen Hill from where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city and the fjord. The Holmenkollen Ski Jump was the focal point of the Olympic Winter Games in 1952. Free time to explore the facilities on your own. From Holmenkollen onto the famous Bygdoy Island where most of the museums of the city are located. Some time at leisure.
Early in the afternoon we continue our journey across Hønefoss, Nesbyen, surrounded by a landscape which alternates with forests of pines and lakes, we arrive in the beautiful Hallingdal Valley. Just a few kilometers away, we will visit Gol followed by Geilo, a small town surrounded by mountains and famous for its ski resorts. Dinner and overnight at a fantastic local four star hotel.

Day 04: Geilo - Bergen
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning you head towards the Hardangerfjord and make a stop at the Vøringsfoss, a powerful waterfall that thunders down 597 feet from the Hardanger Plateau. A short drive via Eidfjord to Brimnes, where you will cross the splendid Hardangerfjord, by travelling across the newly opened Hardanger Bridge to Bruravik.
Continue by coach along the fjord, passing by Norheimsund and forests of birches until we arrive in Bergen—capital of the fjords, Norway’s second largest city, and one of the three university cities in the country.
In the afternoon, meet the local guide in your hotel for a city tour during which we will see St. Mary’s Church, the exterior of Haakon’s Hall, the colorful and picturesque fish markets, and the old Bryggen Harbor area.
Evening is at leisure, with overnight at a centrally-located four star hotel. As an option, you can take a journey up on the Fløibanen (not included)—a funicular railway journey that will take you up the mountain side in order to enjoy the most amazing views of Bergen.

Day 05: Bergen - Stalheim
Breakfast at your hotel. Morning is at leisure to further explore the stunning fjord capital of Bergen. Early afternoon departure from Bergen and travel to the historic town of Voss, with a stunning background of snow clad mountains. After a short break the journey continues towards Nærøy Valley, where your stunning historic three star hotel is situated.
Dinner is at your hotel tonight. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the incredible views down the Stalheim Gorge.
Day 06: Stalheim - Flåm - Fagernes
Breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast the coach continues down the Nærøy Valley to Gudvangen where you embark a ferry that takes you along the Nærøyfjord, one of the narrowest and most popular fjord journeys in Norway. Disembark in the stunning village of Flåm where you will have some free time. Here you might have the opportunity to try the Flåm Railway (optional), one of the most famous and most breathtaking railway journeys in the world.
In the afternoon the coach journey continues along the Aurlandsfjord, via Aurland and Lærdal. A photo stop is made at the popular Borgund Stave church (entrance not included) before continuing on the last part of the journey to Fagernes. Late dinner and overnight at a gorgeous local four star resort.

Day 07: Fagernes - Oslo
After a buffet breakfast your travel towards Oslo, leaving the fjords behind you. Early afternoon arrival in Oslo and check-in to your hotel. In the afternoon board your private coach for a panoramic city tour of the Norwegian Capital, beautifully situated by the fjord. We will enjoy the view from the Opera House, Vigeland’s Park, one of the major Scandinavian cultural treasures. We will also pass by the Royal Palace and the main street, Karl Johan.
Evening are at leisure to further explore the Norwegian capital on your own.

Day 08: Oslo - Stockholm
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Oslo and head for Stockholm by private coach or train, passing through Norwegian and Swedish forests and the region of Värmland, the home of many legends. Late afternoon arrival to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, for check in at your centrally located four star hotel. Evening is at leisure.

Day 09: Stockholm
Breakfast at your hotel. Meet your local guide and depart by private coach for your city tour of Stockholm. The city of Stockholm, built on 14 islands and connected by 57 bridges, embraces the unique character of the 13th-century Old Town and modern high-tech architecture. Stockholm's islands are bordered by Lake Mälaren in the west and the Baltic Sea in the east where the archipelago with its 30,000 islands awaits exploration.
The capital is a big city with a small town personality: its handy size and short walking distances makes it easy to cover a lot in a short time. Stockholm is proudly called ‘Beauty on Water’ and a sightseeing tour including a walk in the Old Town makes a memorable morning tour. Discover a city of contrasts. Go back 750 years in time and feel the medieval atmosphere of the Old Town "Gamla Stan" as you wander through the narrow streets. The seven hundred year old cathedral of Stockholm, Seat of the archbishop, will be seen during your stroll in the Old Town, where you will also get a chance to see Stortorget; where the Stockholm Blood Bath took place. The tour also includes a drive to Fjallgatan where you will enjoy picturesque views of Stockholm. The tour ends at the hotel.
The afternoon and evening is at leisure to explore the city’s museums like Vasa—home to a 17th-century warship that sank in Stockholm’s harbor.

Day 10: Stockholm - Helsinki
After breakfast at your hotel, the morning is at leisure. Afternoon transfer to the pier by private coach and depart on the Tallink Silja overnight ferry, sailing along the Baltic Sea, bound for Helsinki. Buffet dinner will be served on board.
Accommodation is in 2-berth outside Seaside cabins with shower/WC.

Day 11: Helsinki - St. Petersburg
Breakfast on board. On arrival in Helsinki, disembark and meet your local English speaking guide for a 3-hour city tour of the capital of Finland, also known as ‘The Daughter of the Baltic Sea’. The tour includes the Senate Square, the University and Lutheran Cathedral—all displaying neo-classical architecture of the 1840s—the colorful Market Square by the sea in the South Harbor, Kaivopuisto Park and diplomatic residences, the imposing statue of Marshall Mannerheim, the Parliament Building, Finlandia Hall, the Orthodox Russian Church Uspenski, and the Sibelius Monument.
A visit is also made to Temppeliaukio Church – called the ‘Rock Church’ as it is carved into solid rock. The tour ends in the city center, giving you a chance to explore a bit on your own before you and your group are transferred to Helsinki’s International Rail Station.

Day 12: St. Petersburg
Breakfast at your hotel. The imperial palaces and museums of St. Petersburg enjoy worldwide fame, while the Neva River—the river on which the city sits—and its many canals have deservedly given the city the title ‘The Venice of the North’.
This morning you’ll take a panoramic city tour of St. Petersburg to get acquainted with all the splendors of the city: the Peter-Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the Church of the Bleeding Savior, the Nevsky Convent, and much more.
The city tour will end at the hotel, with the rest of the day at leisure to explore St. Petersburg’s many wonders on your own.

Day 13: St. Petersburg
Breakfast at your hotel. Today you’ll meet your guide for a full-day excursion to sites like Peterhof—an uncontested masterpiece of the time of Peter the Great—with the impressive Grand Palace, Grand Cascade, and Walter Avenue with its wonderful park. The world-famous palace is an outstanding landmark of Russian culture from the 18th century, and was conceived as the official royal summer residence: 176 fountains, four cascades, majestic palaces, gilded statues of ancient gods and heroes, and more grace the estate. At noon we’ll have lunch together (included).
In the afternoon we’ll return to St. Petersburg by hydrofoil, where you’ll visit the magnificent buildings of the State Hermitage Museum. Right on the River Neva, these six architectural gems are headed by the Winter Palace, the residence of the Russian Tsars built in the mid-17th century. Over nearly three centuries, this amazing museum has collected over 3,000,000 works of art.
The tour ends at the hotel, and the evening is free for independent exploration.

Day 14: St. Petersburg - Moscow
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning is at leisure before you are transferred to the Moscow Railway station and board the Sapsan high-speed train bound for Moscow.
Enjoy the beauty of endless Russian landscapes along the River Volga as we travel through the countryside. In the late afternoon we’ll arrive in Moscow, checking in at your five star hotel before a free evening to relax or explore the city.

Day 15: Moscow
Breakfast at your hotel this morning. Moscow, the Mother of Russia, is a genuine Russian city with the Kremlin and its onion domed cathedrals. The dramatic changes over the last decade have made the city to one of the most dynamic metropolis in the world.
This morning’s city tour includes all the highlights of this vast city: the Red Square and the Kremlin, the Theatre Square and Bolshoi Theatre, Sparrow Hills with Moscow University, and a visit to one of the famous Moscow Metro stations.
After we visit the Metro we’ll continue our tour of Russia’s most iconic city with a cruise on the Moscow River (lunch is included on board), which begins in the city center and gives you the opportunity to absorb some of the most brilliant architectural features this city on the Neva River has to offer. The rest of the afternoon and evening is free to explore the city on your own.

Day 16: Moscow
Breakfast at your hotel this morning before you meet a local guide for a half-day guided tour of the Kremlin and its Armoury Chamber. Discover the Kremlin’s famous collection of Faberge eggs, jewels, and royal thrones while exploring the largest fortress in Russia, with walls dating back to the 1490s.
The tour will end back at your hotel, where you’ll have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 17: Moscow Departure
After your final buffet breakfast at the hotel, we’ll transfer you directly to Moscow Airport for your flight home.
