Day 01: Arrive Stockholm
Today you’ll arrive for the start of your Four Capitals Tour in Stockholm, Sweden, and transfer from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to a superior first class hotel with rooftop spa, ideally located in the city center. Your tour escort will meet you at the hotel lobby for your first group dinner.

Day 02: Stockholm
After your first Scandinavian buffet breakfast, tour Stockholm with your guide. Famous sights on the tour include the Royal Palace, the Parliament Buildings, the island of Djurgården, and the narrow cobbled streets of Old Town (Gamla stan). A visit to City Hall with its famous Blue and Golden Halls—where the Nobel Prize Banquet is held each year—is an exciting Four Capitals tour highlight.
The afternoon is free to tour Stockholm independently. Your tour leader can help you plan out a visit to the impressive Drottningholm Palace or the famous Vasa Museum, which you can explore on your own.

Day 03: Stockholm - Helsinki
Tour Stockholm, known as the ‘Venice of the North’ for its many canals and waterways, on your own in the morning.
Transfer to a luxurious cruise ferry of the Silja Line in the afternoon. Cruise to Helsinki, sailing slowly down the Stockholm archipelago past numerous small islands. Buffet dinner and accommodation (2-berth outside cabins with shower/WC) is on board. Choice of entertainment, shops, casino, and bars also on board.
Day 04: Helsinki - Stockholm
Enjoy a Scandinavian buffet breakfast as you sail into Helsinki.
Tour Helsinki, the capital of Finland, this morning with a guide. Famous sights include Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, New Opera House, Sibelius Park & Monument, Underground Temple, and other Finland landmarks. Afternoon is free to tour Helsinki’s bustling atmosphere and experience the third largest Nordic city in Scandinavia, located on the Baltic.
Return by Silja Line overnight cruise to Stockholm, with accommodations on board.
Day 05: Stockholm - Copenhagen
After a delicious Scandinavian buffet breakfast on board, arrive in Stockholm and continue your Four Capitals tour.
Tour Sweden’s southern region by coach and arrive near Lake Vättern. After lunch, continue through the provinces of Småland and Skåne to the Swedish city of Malmö. Cross over Øresund Bridge and arrive in wonderful Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, in the evening. Accommodations at a superior four-star hotel in the heart of the city.
Day 06: Copenhagen
Tour Copenhagen this morning with a guide. Tour highlights include Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace (seat of the Danish Parliament), Hans Christian Andersen’s statue, Gefion Fountain, Nyhavn Harbor, the famous Little Mermaid statue, and many other popular sights in the capital of Denmark.
Afternoon is free to tour Copenhagen on your own. Optional tours include the popular pedestrian shopping street, Strøget, or a canal tour. You’ll be provided with entrance tickets to Tivoli Gardens, the second oldest amusement park in the world.
Tour Copenhagen’s rich culinary capital delights tonight on your own. Your tour escort will assist with recommendations and reservations if required.
Day 07: Copenhagen - Oslo
Enjoy a tasty Danish buffet breakfast and tour Copenhagen on your own this morning.
In the afternoon, transfer to an outstanding overnight cruise to Oslo, Norway. Enjoy a delicious Scandinavian buffet dinner as you cruise gently up the Kattegat on your way to Oslo. Highlights include dancing and entertainment on board, or you may prefer to sit out on deck and watch the sunset before retiring to your 2-berth outside cabin with shower/WC room.
Day 08: Oslo
Enjoy a Scandinavian buffet breakfast on board as you sail up the exciting Oslo Fjord.
Tour Oslo, the capital of Norway, this morning with a guide and see the amazing Vigeland Sculpture Park, Viking Ships, the Polar Exploration ship ‘Fram’, and other famous Norway tour highlights. Afternoon is free to tour Oslo independently. Accommodations at a superior four-star hotel in the heart of Oslo.

Day 09: Oslo - Ulvik
After breakfast you will visit the famous Viking Ship Museum. Afterwards departure from Oslo, driving past the beautiful Tyrifjord and along the picturesque Halling Valley to the tourist resort town of Geilo. Buffet lunch at Bardøla Mountain Hotel.
After lunch cross the scenic Hardanger Mountain Plateau to Fossli, stopping to view the mighty Vøringsfoss Waterfall with a vertical drop of 180 m., the highest in Norway. Descend to the Hardangerfjord, to the picturesque village of Ulvik. Dinner and accommodation at a four star hotel ideally located on the banks of the fjord.
Day 10: Ulvik - Bergen
After buffet breakfast, start of scenic tour along the beautiful Hardanger Fjord, famous for its many fruit orchards, arriving in Bergen around midday, the old Hanseatic capital of Western Norway and ‘Gateway to the Fjords’.
Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon take a 2-hour tour of Bergen, including a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, the famous Bryggen Harbor with its gabled packhouses and the old Hanseatic Quarter. You will also ride on the funicular to Mt. Fløien, for panoramic views of the city and fjords way below. Accommodation is at a four star hotel in the center of the city by the Bryggen Harbor. Dinner is on own tonight.

Day 11: Bergen - Flåm - Balestrand
After a delicious buffet breakfast, depart from Bergen via Dale to the town of Voss. Board the train in Voss for a ride on the beautiful Bergen Railway to the mountain station of Myrdal. From Myrdal ride on the amazing Flåm Railway, a masterpiece of engineering descending 2,838 feet in about one hour. The descent to Flåm offers opportunities for photos of waterfalls and spectacular scenery.
After a short rest in Flåm you will start a 2-hour cruise along the narrow Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord, both branches of the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest open fjord in the world. From the sun deck or the comfortable lounge, you can enjoy the spectacular scenery of cascading waterfalls, sheer mountain cliffs, snow-clad peaks, and a variety of wildlife. After disembarking in the village of Gudvangen you will continue across the Vika Mountains to Vangsnes for the short ferry crossing to Balestrand on the banks of the Sognefjord. Dinner and accommodation (fjord view room) is at a historic four star hotel overlooking the fjord.
Day 12: Balestrand - A Day in the Fjords
Day free in Balestrand, providing you the opportunity to spend a whole day relaxing and enjoying the beauty and nature of the fjords. The day starts with a traditional Norwegian buffet breakfast in the hotel's elegant dining room.
You may want to spend the morning relaxing on the hotel's terrace and enjoying the spectacular views. We can also recommend a visit to the local aquarium and art gallery, or you may prefer to rent a bike or row boat from the hotel, or even go hiking to the nearest mountains. A walking tour of the village of Balestrand, with its historic buildings can also be arranged. Dinner and accommodation at your local hotel.
Day 13: Balestrand - Geiranger
After breakfast departure from your hotel by ferry from Dragsvik to Hella, followed by a scenic drive along the northern side of the Sognefjord to Sogndal. The tour continues by road to Fjaerland, passing under the Jostedal Glacier, the largest in Europe, to the village of Skei.
Descend to the beautiful Nord Fjord, making a detour at Olden to visit the world-famous Briksdal Glacier. The journey up to the glacier will be made in open cars to give you the best of views. Afterwards a typical Norwegian lunch will be served in sight of the glacier. During the afternoon the tour continues via Loen and Stryn to the picturesque village of Hellesylt.
From here you board the ferry for the one hour’s cruise along the spectacular Geiranger Fjord. During the cruise you will pass close by some impressive waterfalls, such as the Bridal Veil and the Seven Sisters. Disembark in the picturesque village of Geiranger, amidst some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Dinner and accommodation at a local charming four star hotel, beautifully situated overlooking the Geiranger Fjord.
Day 14: Geiranger - Oslo
Ascend the famous Serpentine Road with amazing views of the fjord below before crossing the rugged Grotli Mountains to the village of Lom, famous for its 14th-century stave church.
The tour continues alongside Lake Vågå to Otta, then descends the wonderful Gudbrands Valley towards the town of Lillehammer. Lunch in Lillehammer. After lunch the journey continues along the banks of Lake Mjøsa, Norway's largest lake, back to Oslo for dinner and one more night at a four star hotel.

Day 15: Oslo Departure
Buffet breakfast at hotel, followed by transfer to Oslo Gardermoen Airport for your flight home.
