The Ring Road Highlights tour is one of our self-drive bestsellers: a circle tour at a relativity quick pace that includes the option to traverse the uninhabited interior of Iceland via the Kjölur highland track*. Throughout this tour you’ll discover magical natural wonders, majestic landscapes, and the unique character Iceland is renowned for.

In particular:

  • You cover a great deal of Iceland within a short period, but you still have the flexibility to decide how long your travel days are.
  • You will see and explore all major attractions around Iceland’s main ring road. This includes the mighty Geysir and the spouting Strokkur hot springs. Waterfalls, National Parks and other nature wonders are also a part of the program.
  • With an easy upgrade of your car to a 4wd, you can travel through the highland track of Kjölur: a mountain pass between two of Iceland’s large glaciers.

For your safety and in case of emergency or after-hours assistance, our tour operator provides clients with an emergency phone number, open 24 hours.

Arrival at Keflavik Airport.
